Best Homemaking Podcasts

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I just need another voice in the room—one that reminds me why this work matters, why God called me to it, and that I’m not alone in it. Whether I’m folding laundry, prepping dinner, or taking a walk with the kids, these podcasts have become trusted companions.

They speak truth, offer encouragement, and often leave me feeling refreshed and ready to step back into my role with renewed joy. These are the shows I return to again and again—and I think you’ll love them too.

1. Simple Farmhouse Life – Lisa Bass

Lisa Bass, a farm family table enthusiast and creator of the online homemaker community, hosts the Simple Farmhouse Life podcast. She shares practical ways to embrace simple living while incorporating biblical principles into your home. Whether it’s about making sourdough, welcoming homes with true hospitality, or finding joy in homemaking, each episode is packed with valuable resources. Lisa’s podcast is a go-to podcast for Christian moms who love the art of homemaking.

What I like best: I have honestly listened to every single episode that Lisa has produced and I find her very down-to-earth and relatable. Because he podcast, YouTube channel, and blog is so well-known, she has a lot of popular guests on!

2. The Art of Home Podcast – Allison Weeks

The Art of Home Podcast, hosted by Allison Weeks, is all about celebrating homemaking as an art form. This podcast provides practical tips, classic episodes on homemaking foundations, and biblical encouragement for Christian women. Allison’s episodes often feature Christian wives sharing their experiences, making it feel like you’re sitting with dear friends, learning how to make your home a reflection of God’s design.

What I like best: Allison interviews ‘in the trenches’ homemakers and ‘seasoned’ homemakers alike, which brings a unique flavor to her podcasts. On one hand, you get to listen to those who have ‘gone before’ and gain their wisdom and insight. However, you can also find podcasts of those who are just beginning their homemaker journey and those who are in the thick of it all. Both have value as Titus 2 women!

4. Finding Joy in Your Home – Jami Balmet

Jami Balmet’s Finding Joy in Your Home is packed with biblical encouragement and practical advice for Christian mothers. As a homeschooling mom, Jami understands the daily grind and the importance of balancing family life with homemaking. Some topics that you might find featured are a special episode on biblical hospitality or an insightful discussion on the role God has designed for women in the home.

What I like best: I love that Jami has four boys! I relate to her so much because of that! She also brings some really practical elements to her podcast and in her online app like her ‘homemade year‘, which tackles a homemade item every month! Her first month was March 2025 and she tackled teaching homemakers how to make the perfect homemade donuts! How fun! I also enjoy that her husband Jason joins her frequently on the podcast.

5. Thankful Homemaker Podcast – Marci Ferrell

Marci Ferrell offers guilt-free ideas for homemakers in her Thankful Homemaker Podcast. With years of experience as a Christian homemaker, she shares full show notes that provide practical encouragement rooted in biblical wisdom. Her free monthly encouragement episodes help Christian women stay motivated and focused on the ultimate goal of honoring God in their daily lives.

What I like best: This might sound overly simplistic, but what I like best is that these podcasts are quite short in light of what many of these other homemaking podcasts lengths. She is very gospel-centered so you are going to find a lot of faith encouragement in these episodes.

What I like best: Abbie just finished her 100th episode podcast and honestly it’s such a fun one that I thought it was worth the shoutout. Abbie tackles offering 100 ‘Mom things’ in honor of her 100th episode. If you have never listened to this podcast, it might be a fun one to start with because it provides a wonderful reflection of the type of content that Abbie offers!

Her “Tea Time Tuesday” series provides listeners with reflections on faith, motherhood, and the art of homemaking, encouraging women to find joy and purpose in their daily routines.

What I like best: For me this is honestly the best ‘Titus 2’ women podcast. It’s an opportunity to sit at the virtual ‘feet’ of someone who has lived before me and soak in her wisdom. Trust me, Sally has a lot of wisdom to offer!

  • Engaging with culture from a biblical perspective
  • Embracing a simplified approach to motherhood and daily life

Durenda’s candid discussions provide listeners with valuable resources and encouragement, helping them find freedom in letting God’s voice quiet all others.

What I like best: I originally found this podcast because of Durenda’s books, The Unhurried Homeschooler, and The 4-Hour School Day. They intrigued me because of their implication of ‘slow living’. Eventually, I also read her book Raising Boys to Men, which is currently one of my top favorite parenting books. Durenda brings the same ‘slowness’ to her podcasts as she contemplates all topics of homemaking, motherhood, and homeschooling.

9. Havilah’s Podcast – Havilah Cunnington

Havilah Cunnington’s Halvilah’s Podcast is a blend of faith, family, and homemaking advice. Each episode includes practical encouragement, valuable resources, and interviews with Christian women who share their journeys. As she will state in her introduction, she is not a well-known author or speaker, but just a mom learning to juggle all the demands! A great down-to-earth edition to your podcast library!

What I like best: This is a newer podcast for me, but based on what I’ve listened to so far, this is a very spiritually-minded podcast. If you need a spiritual pickup, this is the podcast for you!
