This colorful spinner is perfect for elementary-aged kids to memorize each fruit of the Spirit. With both a coloring and full-color version, it’s an engaging resource for Sunday School lessons. The spinner reinforces Bible memory and each Fruit of the Spirit, while building fine motor skills and creativity.

  • Resource: Free Fruit of the Spirit Printables for Kids
  • Supplies: White cardstock, markers, hole punch, craft stick, glue sticks.
  • Steps: Cut out the top and bottom of the Fruit of the Spirit Pie/Spinner. Attach with a brad. If you are doing the coloring version, make sure to have lots of colorful markers or crayons for your learners!

2. Fruit of the Spirit Basket

This adorable basket craft is a great visual representation of the complete list of Fruits of the Spirit. Young children can enjoy filling their baskets with colorful fruits labeled with spiritual gifts. It’s a fun way to reinforce lessons during VBS, Sunday School, or homeschooling. Plus, this craft is a great hands-on lesson for learning important truths from God’s Word.

Once again, there is a coloring and a full-color version that you can choose from. The best way to fill the basket is to use velcro to attach each Fruit of the Spirit. I find that my 2-4 year olds love this activity best!

  • Resource: Download the template at Gumroad or Etsy. Due to the nature of Etsy there is a cost to the bundle. The black and white basket coloring page is available for free through the Gumroad link. There is a cost associated with the entire bundle (colored version and the remaining 5 pages).
  • Supplies: White cardstock, fruit template, velcro.
  • Steps: Download the template, cut out the desired fruit, laminate (optional), and affix with velcro.

This Fruits of the Spirit craft is one of my favorites!

This easy craft offers a creative visual Bible craft for Sunday school classrooms. Children will love creating their apples using the provided template while learning how the Holy Spirit grows spiritual fruits in our lives. This craft is a great way to practice fine motor skills while connecting to an important truth from God’s Word. There is only a full color version of this craft and it is exclusively available on Gumroad.

  • Supplies: Fruit of the Spirit template, brad fasteners (2), sicssors
  • Steps:
    • Print out
    • Cut out all pieces
    • Stack and secure opposite ends with a brad fastener
    • Fan out to create an apple!
