Memorizing the Books of the Bible
From Genesis to Paul’s letters, the Books of the Bible Coloring pages take you through the entire Old Testament and New Testament with book represented on the coloring page. Here is another great Bible story coloring book, that can help reinforce Biblical concepts as you are teaching your children or a classroom Bible stories or concepts.
If you are helping your child memorize the books of the Bible, here are a few ideas for helping them retain the order of the New Testament and Old Testament. One of the reasons I decided to make these books of the Bible coloring pages was because my Awana Sparks student was attempting to learn the New Testament order and not quite ‘getting it’. These are some of the exercises I tried with him.
- Listen to a song to help memorize the order. We enjoyed the one the Awana provided and it’s on YouTube so you don’t even need to be a member of Awana!
