The game is simple and suitable for all ages, making it an excellent choice for family gatherings, classroom parties, or even large group events.

1. Get Your Game Materials Ready: To start, make sure you have everything you need. Download our free Valentine’s Day Bingo cards, which come in different designs to add a festive touch to your celebration. You can print these cards on card stock for durability, which I recommend for best results. I also highly recommend laminating these if you plan to play more than once!
2. Printing and Preparation: Once you’ve downloaded the cards, print out as many as you need for your guests. Consider using high-quality card stock for a professional look and feel. If you’re hosting a larger event, it’s a good idea to laminate the cards for repeated use.
3. Gather Your Markers: Traditional bingo markers work well, or you can get creative and use conversation hearts, Valentine-themed candies, or small toys as markers. The “free space” in the center of each card provides a breather for players. Here are some fun ones that you can just grab from Amazon! If you laminate these, you could also just use dot paints.
4. Understand the Rules: Distribute the cards to each player, along with their chosen markers. Explain the rules – the goal is to complete a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) on the card by matching the called-out words. Familiarize players with the different words featured on the cards, ranging from “conversation hearts” to “Valentine’s day bingo.”
5. Call Out the Words: Use a calling card sheet with the listed Bible verses and images to call out each term randomly. This adds an element of suspense and excitement to the game. As players mark off the called words on their cards, the competition heats up.
6. Winning and Prizes: The first player to complete a row shouts “Bingo!” and is declared the winner. Consider having small prizes or treats on hand for the winners. It could be Valentine’s toys, chocolates, or any other tokens of affection.
